Established in 1941 as leading global research and  development based pharmaceutical company, they operate globally in terms of R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and marketing, with a strong focus on prescription medicines.

Their new research facility is a center for genetics guided dementia discovery focused on drug discovery in the field of immuno-dementia based on human genetics.
